The 2015 umpiring clinic will be held this month

It will consist of two x 2 hour sessions at Gooden Reserve

Saturday 14th March 1:00pm - 3.30pm
Saturday 21st March 1:00pm - 3.30pm approx (includes exam)

Umpires (high school age & above) are invited to attend along with coaches and parents

Attendance is compulsory for all students who wish to umpire throughout the 2015 season.

It is a free clinic organised by the Association aimed to train new umpires, refresh rules for others and bring a continued and improved level of consistency to the competition.

Both of these sessions will be held at Gooden Reserve Baulkham Hills.

What to bring:
* Sunscreen
* Hat
* Water
* Pen/Pencil
* Whistle (finger grip whistle such as the one at the following link is recommended: Rebel Sport Whistle Finger

Returning umpires are only required to attend the second week of training (on the 21st) in order to complete the test.
I do, however, encourage returning umpires to attend the first week of training as well in order to get a refresher of all the rules.

For anyone new to umpiring, please note that umpires are required to wear a bright pink shirt to any games that they umpire. (KMart had some last year - approx $8?).

Please RSVP about attendance so that I have an idea of numbers.

As always, if you have any further questions please feel free to email me.

Thank you so SO much for volunteering to help out the club - I cannot tell you how much it is appreciated!

Kind regards,
St Matthew's Netball Club Secretary
